Birkdale School is an all boys independent school located in Sheffield. The demolition of a cramped entrance and office accommodation at Clarke house, their Pre Prep accommodation made way for a new entrance foyer with associated office. The use of a large roof light and full height glazing to the front elevation created a bright and inviting reception space. The sympathetic palette of materials complemented the architecture of the existing grade 2 listed building. Project completed whilst working at ADP.
