VICTORIA SCHOOL FOOD TECHNOLOGY: PROGRESS ON SITE
Construction work is well underway for the refurbishment of the food technology room. The project also includes the remodelling and refurbishment of a former shower area adjacent to create a multi-use breakout space with seating to provide additional facilities for the school.

The importance of good quality comprehensive technical drawings and specifications is an invalid part of the design process, reducing problems for the construction team on site and ultimately removing unnecessary risk to the client.

Example technical drawing for the project showing the ‘reflected ceiling plan’ including the dimensional setting out requirements for the (coloured) acoustic panels to the breakout space.
The technical design has been carefully coordinated with the kitchen specialist who will be undertaking their fit-out once the main building and refurbishment works have been completed. Please read more in our previous blog.
